After years of thinking about it, I just picked up a pixel 7 and loaded it with GrapheneOS. My only regret is not doing it sooner. This experience has been so much better than the carrier locked phones I've used in the past.

The amount of control you get over the device is so refreshing. Phones are tools. They shouldn't be allowed to tell you no, or try to dictate your behavior.

Now is the perfect time to jump on one of these older GrapeneOS phones. We're maybe a little over a year out from their transition over to Motorola.
