Took less than a minute to get up and running locally and worked well. The only changes I would request are instant previews and removing the "crypto" requirement. Currently the qr code isn't updated until manually "generating" or "updating" it with the button at the bottom. For ease of use, adding an instant preview would be preferable. Also, I wish it didn't mandate the user paste a wallet address. Why not open it up to allow urls and other text?
All in all I like the project.

Amazing software for long term storage. At least if it's proven secure. (which I am sure it will.) If the creator doesn't get robbed by making his vault freely accessible on internet, then you can be sure that it is secure.

I want to use this to make a vault that me and my wife can both open with our common memories. So that I am sure that she will have access to my money if I die and I am sure that my funds won't be lost if I ever got Alzheimer. She will still be able to open my funds for me.

This software is really perfect for giving access to funds to trusted ones without them having to memorize a password that gets easily lost. Memories are forever.

I gave Memoro Vault a try after seeing the boosted listing. Setup was pretty straightforward and I managed to create and unlock a vault without issues on Fedora. I like that it just looks like a normal zip file, so nothing stands out. For someone like me who isn’t very technical, that feels safer. Some of the instructions are a bit long and hard to follow, but once you click through it makes sense. I think it’s a good idea for people who want another backup option besides paper or hardware wallets. I didn't try very hard to break the bounty vault either because it seemed impossible. It's obviously very secure against the average joe (me) but I will be following the bounty closely. I hope it holds

Honestly this is exactly what I've been looking for when it comes to long term seed storage and the program is really well thought out. I hope the bounty goes as intended! I went ahead and contributed to it.

Nice guy to talk to, brilliant way to go about advertising a product that will likely incur initial skepticism.

Put eyes on the code if you know what to look for. I don't. But I do like trying new innovative things, and my gut says I'll try it. If it's malware and my wallet gets drained, there's always Rajeeta from Monero customer support!

---------edit-------

He promptly alerted me that a bug had been found through bug bounty, and not to use until he corrected it in the next version. Much appreciated, and lends credibility to his ethics and intentions.

I saw on github that someone claimed this is malware, so I decided to find out for myself. After running it in a VM, I didn't spot anything out of the ordinary. There is a function that is called a "nuke" function. It looks as though that clears the indexed db and local browser memory in the program to prevent the sensitive information from being stored in memory. I'm not claiming to be the ultimate code auditor, but the program didn't seem malicious.
Aside from the unfounded claims, I found this program to be useful. I had never considered my current seed storage to be "insecure" but am now reconsidering. Am curious to see where this project goes.

Read and responded. I have opened a github issue for my reference to fix the issue: https://github.com/Kasmaristo-Delvakto/memoro-vault/issues/4
I would like kasmaristo to come online and read my message. I'm hoping he'll see this if I post it publicly.
@this_is_the_matrix, Then don't use the android version. From using this program for about a week now, what I have gathered is that it is not just for seed storage. It is useful for many different applications. In your case, yes, storing the seed and opening the vault on an android release would not be the best use. Continue using the desktop application. But another person might just want to store images or messages or letters or anything else you can think of for their posterity to one day find and recover. Every use has its own threat vector
Hmm I love the idea of using this as a cold wallet storage only to open in tails os but I am skeptical about an android release. Couldn't that be easily compromised?
Mobile has been in development for more than 2 months now. By end of year I will have version 1 released for android
Hey @Memoro Vault, are you ever planning on making a mobile version of this. That would be incredibly useful!
