TLDR: Visit my video website and upload some videos: https://videos.icum.to
============================================================

We are all well aware of how terrible Google is regarding privacy. Furthermore, I dislike how Google controls what we talk about, what words we can say, and even restricting people who look young from having a comments section on their videos. This is actually a very real problem to the point where young looking people cannot succeed on Youtube solely by being deemed a "child" by a robot.

Just as you are using Monero as a solution to fiat, you need to start utilizing a solution to Youtube. This is where Peertube comes in.

Peertube is a peer-to-peer federated network. Meaning, it is not controlled by one entity. Anyone can make their own Peertube website by using their open source software. You can discover other independent Peertube websites ( https://instances.joinpeertube.org ), follow them, and choose to mirror their videos on your instance. Essentially, you can create your very own video website tailored to your interests while interacting with other Peertube instances.

I have my own Peertube, and I allow people to upload to it. I have gotten a nice diverse group of people on my Peertube, ranging from children making funny videos to technology enthusiasts making tutorials. Peertube feels very human compared to Youtube and other platforms which have turned into a means of people making money, which has sucked all of the personality out of video making. Peertube feels like what Youtube was in 2007, except Peertube can always stay this way depending on how you want to run your instance. And you can never get banned.

Here is my personal Peertube, check out how it works. I hope you'll upload some videos here and grow the decentralized internet: https://videos.icum.to
