I can verify that the Camylopez account is a fraud. Paypal'd them some $ on Dec 1st, still haven't received any XMR. They claim PP won't release the funds, trying to string me along. Avoid

Order #xbr3 , I got scammed in the escrow of all things. User impersonated the Mediator by creating a fake account one character different ("aka__TheAC" instead of "aka_TheAC"). I had repeated Web Socket errors during the escrow process, then received a message from what appeared to be the real Mediator. I foolishly believed that the address he gave me in chat was the escrow wallet address, and that he would "take care of things on his end".

As soon as the money was sent, both the seller and the fake "Mediator" vanished. This was 100% avoidable on my end if I'd bothered to check the account page of the person sending me the message, as it was only after an hour of zero response that I realized what happened, checked, and saw how I'd been bamboozled.

Learn from my mistake... ALWAYS check the account name of the person messaging you.

Attempted to double scam me by claiming he'd send the money back if I deleted all posts talking about it and send him $7 in "fees" to get the funds out of a stake he supposedly put the money into. I have to credit him for the audacity, if nothing else.

Watch out for tipping scam. Basically a person will offer you to send you some monero but he only have bitcoin or other coin alternative so he want your help to swap them. The scam usually goes with they pretend they have sent you the bitcoin but they will urge you to sent the monero fast to them. This scam can be easily be carried through because bitcoin have long verification time so they can lie that they have sent the money but you just haven't seen it yet.

Someone message me using this tactic but I never follow their lead.
