At the very least if someone can share the cheat sheet with me, which illegal listings are totally okay, and what kind of political censorship is expected. I would at least have a road map for the hypocrisy I am facing.

I don't have any link with the admins, but I think most likely they just don't want the Nazi symbol to be on the site since it is banned in less free countries. I have a feeling that if you repost as a NSFW listing which is hidden unless you make an account then you might be fine. Basically they just don't want to scare off normies. Like all the medical listings were pushed into NSFW several months ago. IDK though.

I do agree that the standard should be applied to all political sides. The real issue I think is that the left in governments will go after Nazis, and the right won't protect Nazis since they are socialist. So the moderation is unequal because the threat of government action is one sided.

Also the guys selling accounts aren't necessarily stolen or illegal. It is against TOS of these companies to sell accounts or to use fake KYC info, however legally it is not required that you have to abide with the TOS with the exception of certain financial accounts. The TOS gives a company the right to refuse service (like banning the account) but it doesn't have any weight in terms of criminal law unless the info used to pass the KYC check involves stolen information of a real person instead of just AI generated data, or is used to acquire material illegally. Example signing up for financial accounts with fake ID to cash in on sign up bonuses.

Regardless of whatever bed time story you guys feel like telling yourselves, there is no other way of mass selling certain accounts in ways that you can obtain all of them legally. It doesn't exist. A quick search will disillusion anyone from this kind of sleep.

Then the other possibility might be that people reported the listing and maybe a certain amount reports lead to the listings being automatically removed, and no one wants to go through an manually whitelist the reported listings. I doubt they are telling you to never post Nazi stuff considering you have two listings that are still up. Maybe they just want you to not have that many listings of it. I mean, if you really truly want to sell the armband, you could just make another listing and see what happens. If the admins don't explicitly tell you to stop, I would say it's fair game. The worst that would happen is they ban your account. You don't have sales yet so it's not like you are going to lose anything.

There are many different ways to mass create accounts legally. Just because you don't know how to do it doesn't mean it can't be done legally. The whole reason people pay them for accounts is because it's a skill most people don't have. Not to mention it isn't like everyone here is American, so even certain laws like Trump's new deepfake AI restrictions don't apply to them. No one is going to be buying data breached information just to create a free gmail account that is being sold for a few dollars. It wouldn't even be profitable vs using legal methods. I used to do a lot of mobile gaming for example and selling game accounts used to actually be a viable business. People weren't hacking accounts to acquire them. Some dudes would buy 50 cheap used phones and use special anti-cheat resistant macros to grind up accounts and sell them to people who couldn't RNG the gatcha for their favorite pulls. I never got into that, but I thought that was pretty cyberpunk. I had an ex girlfriend who used to buy and sell maplestory accounts for profit back when it was popular. People would pay several hundred dollars because in terms of time cost for people with jobs and not being kids, it was actually cheaper than grinding manually for months.

I think your listing got reported, and sometimes when listings are reported, they are automatically removed. If it happens enough, then your future listings are locked and don't go public. I suspect if the mod was removing things due to dislike, then all of your listings would be gone. Plus, I haven't seen them take sides on political standing, so I don't think that is the case here.

Doesn't check out. Admin account is active. And that last theory is dead as well. Today they removed two of my remaining listings as well.

Listing #bMrZ has been deleted by the admin.
Listing #EGdT has been deleted by the admin.

No communication, no explanation. The two listings were legal to sell flag and legal to sell t-shirt.

I'm confident they must have their beautiful mental gymnastics to justify why they're ignoring respectful communication as well. But this's simply unprofessional.

If anybody is thinking that this place is some sort of free market where you can put out whatever legal you think you want as they advertise it, think again, this place ain't it.

But are you validating these reports in any way, or can anyone create multiple alt accounts to take down listings they don’t like?

Could you clarify the rules for determining whether a listing is legal? The terms state that legality depends on jurisdiction, but the example involving Nazi-related items suggests otherwise, since such items are completely legal in many countries.

If the rule is that a listing reported by a user from a country where certain goods are illegal will be taken down, then please remove all LGBT-related content from the platform, because it is strictly illegal in my country, considered dangerous to society, and punishable by death.

No proof or evidence of any kind was ever provided. Those accusations were therefore false. The account that made them has been permanently banned.

The Terms of Service have also been updated regarding high-risk listings.

I haven't had any of my listings deleted, but the claim reads as when yours get deleted, it says "Listing is deactivated, please contact support."
Is this true?

Compiling all this information:
- There's listings getting removed in automated manner, sometimes(?) wrongly.
- The method to appeal is public (but the message user sees is generic "contact support").
- There's little to no public post appealing listing removals (that I can see).

Can you clarify where does this public listing appeal usually happen?
Not that I would be surprised to hear people actually don't bother to appeal to these after seeing people don't even bother to report after getting scammed!

Seems like there's an opportunity to improve the UX around notifications and appeals to make the appeal process clearer to route people toward the appropriate channel more effectively, which could help prevent further misunderstandings?

- The user is asked for proof of claims w/ post timestamp Aug 20 04:35.
- Same day, Aug 20 15:02, 10 hours and 27 minutes later, public announcement of the user being banned.

Assuming the reported reason is the reason for the ban, that seems like a very tight turnaround to expect someone to respond.
I've been following scammer/TOS threats, and usually users are afforded at least 24 to 48 hours to respond.

Would it not be better to have a standardized, reasonable timeframe applying to everyone, so that users have a meaningful opportunity to defend themselves?
We would like to be known for delivering fair justice, would we not?

Assuming Nazi lives in the US, selling nazi t-shirts and such is legal. Are the rules now that an item must be legal in EVERY jurisdiction in the world to be allowed to be on this platform, or, just the jurisdiction the buyer and seller lives in? I recall that listings were based on buyer/seller jurisdiction, not "illegal in one jurisdiction in the world so it's not allowed to be sold on here period". As nobswebdev pointed out, anything related to LGBT is incredibly illegal in places like Iran, Russia, Hungary, Nigeria, Egypt, and a lot more other places. I suspect that LGBT listings here will still stay despite it following the "illegal in some areas" rule. Other things follow this logic, such as gum being illegal in Singapore. Raw milk is illegal to sell in numerous states in the US. Even homemade jam requires a license in the US. This rule seems unusual to truly enforce, I suspect our listings are judged under the admin's personal opinion on listings allowed. I think this because I doubt they will remove these things that are illegal in numerous places, but the equally as illegal nazi listings are removed.

The issue of the thread wasn't really addressed by Admin. If this is a free platform based on selling in our personal jurisdictions, why not re-instate Nazi's listings, seeing as it is legal for him?

And TBF, I do see illegal listings here, but I guess we must link to them to prevent getting banned? Seems like an easy way to get banned in a discussion about the platform, as I do come across such listings, but to prevent a ban:

If you look under the "health" section, there are a number of items being sold illegally. It's sad to see someone practicing freedom of speech (even if we disagree with it) be removed, as there are items that have stayed up for months that are illegal.
