I wanted to suggest using xmrcheckout.com as an optional alternative to the current direct payment flow.
Right now, buyers send funds straight to the seller's personal wallet, and AnonBazaar isn't involved in handling or verifying payments. That keeps things simple and non-custodial, but it can feel a bit risky for buyers since there's no neutral way to confirm a payment is tied to a specific order.
With xmrcheckout, sellers would still get paid directly into their own wallets - no escrow, no custody - but the payment would go through a public invoice. That means both buyer and seller can independently verify:
a) The exact amount and address for the order
b) When the payment is detected
c) When it’s fully confirmed on-chain
From an integration side, xmrcheckout has a public API, so AnonBazaar could generate an invoice per order and just link the buyer to it.
xmrcheckout can be self hosted as well, so the invoice link could even be a anonbazaar.com url and the verification could even be integrated in the anonbazaar.com UI.
Overall this could start as an optional checkout mode that keeps the same decentralized model, but adds a lot more confidence and transparency for buyers, especially new ones.
